Ever since the Korean government announced its Hydrogen Economy Roadmap in 2019, the investment of R&D and infrastructure has been increasing significantly. Especially, as of May 2021, 14,532 of fuel cell vehicles, 88 of hydrogen refueling stations and 658MW stationary fuel cell power plants were distributed. Furthermore, the government plans to increase the investment on R&D of key hydrogen technologies such as production, storage and transport in order to strengthen its industrial ecosystem. In this presentation, the current status and R&D program of hydrogen technologies are summarized.
