Abstract

The one-site high-purity hydrogen production unit consists of desulphurization by ambient adsorption, catalytic steam reforming, low temperature water-gas-shift(LTS), pressure swing adsorption(PSA) and balance of plant(steam generator, super heater, compressor, pumps, burner control, etc). This work mainly focuses on the genuine design and development of skid unit for 300 Nm3/hr hydrogen capacities with cost competitiveness and high thermal efficiency. Also, scale-up design strategies of reformer module with 1,000 Nm3/hr capacities is described.
